As a singer and teacher, physical stamina and freedom are necessities. Sometimes, however,
tension creeps in and throws off the muscular balance and support needed for healthy voice
production. Alistair has given me techniques to help me maintain this physical equilibrium
throughout my busy teaching week. His professional and personable manner make his studio a
comfortable place to explore the body without judgement or expectation.

For me, these sessions have opened up a lot of self-learning and healing. As a professional dancer, I
know my body well. I knew I had quirks/habits from previous injuries, but I didn’t know how to
move through or past them. The sessions with Alistair, have allowed me to keep in tune with my
body and explore new movement pathways to move past those injuries and habits. I am enjoying
being able to constantly learn and discover my body and how it moves. Thank you, Alistair, for
allowing your craft to assist in my healing and learning.

I work in a job which requires me to be on my feet for most of the day. I went to Alistair to improve
my posture because I was getting back pain. Even after the first session, I felt a change in the way I
was standing and distributing my weight over my feet and it felt effortless to stand.
I highly recommend trying this method because it will give you a better understanding of your body
and movement. Alistair was professional and helped to me learn more about myself and look
forward to more sessions with him.
